How old was Aspyn Ovard when she had her baby?

Influencer and Youtube star Aspyn Ovard has filed for divorce from her husband of eight years Parker Ferris. According to court documents obtained by People, Aspyn, 27, filed for divorce on 1 April, the same day she announced the birth of their third child.

Taking to TikTok, the mum shared a video from a hospital bed, explaining that her baby girl was born early at 34 weeks.

“So I just had a baby. I feel like I’m in shock because she’s super early,” she explained. “My brain is just not processing what’s happening.”

The social media star went on to reveal that her baby had been taken to the NICU. “She’s in the NICU right now, she’s doing really well, but she’s super early so she’s going to be there for a minute.”

Earlier in the day, Aspyn had shared videos of her and Parker awaiting their new arrival in hospital. In one clip, Parker is seen standing beside the hospital bed, jokingly saying: “My friend’s in there,” as he pointed at his wife’s stomach. He is seen wearing his wedding band in the video.

Aspyn has yet to address the filing publicly. As well as their newborn, the couple also share four-year-old, Cove, and their two-year-old, Lola. They wed in October 2015, when Aspyn was 19 and Parker was 20.

The arrival of their third child comes just a month after the pair enjoyed their ‘babymoon’ in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Taking to Instagram with a montage of video footage from the trip, Aspyn penned: “Still can’t believe I have survived another pregnancy and have another little girlie in my belly. Thank you @velasvallarta for hosting our babymoon stay!!”

The couple announced their third pregnancy in October last year. They revealed the happy news in a video of them on the beach holding an ultrasound photo. The caption read: “Baby #3 is joining our family in 2024!”

Aspyn’s fans have been quick to react to the report of her divorce on social media. Sharing their disbelief, one person wrote: “Is this Aspyn Ovard news true ??? No wayyyy,” while another added: “WDYM ASPYN OVARD IS GETTING A DIVORCE?!?!?! WHATTTTTT.”

How old was Aspyn when she got married?

YouTuber Aspyn Ovard has made a career out of documenting her life with her husband, Parker Ferris, and kids. However, in April 2024, Ovard filed for divorce the same day she announced the birth of their third child. The pair, who also share daughters Cove and Lola, got married in October 2015.

Ovard started vlogging about her life on YouTube when she was still in high school, with Ferris chiming in as they launched their joint channel.

From how they met to her divorce filing, here’s everything to know about Aspyn Ovard and Parker Ferris’ relationship.

Ovard first began posting on both of her YouTube channels when she was in high school, mainly sharing vlog content and makeup and beauty hacks. She also included Ferris in her videos from the very beginning, posting boyfriend tags and comedy videos like him doing her makeup.

One of her accounts now has 2 million subscribers, which she converted into a joint account for her and Ferris before changing it back to just her name in March 2024. Her other account, which she stopped posting on in March 2022, has over 3 million subscribers.

Ferris has often supported Ovard in her social media career from editing her videos to helping her film content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Additionally, he helped Ovard run her clothing brand, Luca + Grae, before it went on an indefinite pause.

Ovard also spoke about how Ferris helped take care of their daughters — whom she made an effort to keep private in recent years — so she could have time to film. Ferris often joined Ovard in videos on their previously joint channel, vlogging about their daily life.

Though they went to the same elementary school in fourth grade, Ovard and Ferris said in a YouTube video detailing how they met that they didn’t know each other — and it wasn’t until they were both in high school that they connected.

The first time they hung out was during a party at Ovard’s neighbor’s house. While they had mutual friends, Ovard and Ferris went to different high schools, but by the end of their sophomore year, their friend groups combined and they kept hanging out.

Throughout that summer, they hung out nearly daily and by the time their junior year rolled around, both knew the other had feelings for each other, but Ovard didn’t want a relationship.

“We were a thing but we weren’t exclusive at all, but Parker just wanted me so bad and I just knew,” she said. “I would just keep him around which is sad and not nice so if you’re in high school don’t do that to someone, except sometimes it works out and you get married.”

After getting engaged in August 2015, Ovard and Ferris got married in an intimate ceremony in Utah on Oct. 23, 2015. Ovard was 19 at the time while Ferris was 20.

“I have a wife! She has a husband!” Ferris said in a video recounting the special day. “I’m sure it will hit me a little later once we actually get situated, living together, normal married life.”

Messy divorces are back; this we’ve known for a while. But one influencer is currently taking this trend to new heights (or perhaps lows). Aspyn Ovard, a longtime presence on YouTube and TikTok, filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, Parker Ferris, also a YouTuber, earlier this year on the same day she announced to her followers that she had given birth to their third child.

Naturally, the divorce-baby combo drove fans nuts; theories about what happened have been lighting up Reddit for months. At first, Ovard declined to comment on the divorce at all, but in August, she referenced it on TikTok for the first time, telling fans she was being “demure” by not sharing any salacious details.

This demure posture did not last long: Ovard has since posted a compendium of gossip about the divorce on TikTok, occasionally including her ex in the videos. Who are these people? And what did they do to each other? I watched dozens of Ovard videos to find out.

Our gal is a 28-year-old content creator from Utah who now lives in California. She started her career as a YouTube beauty guru and vlogger ten years ago and still maintains 2 million followers on the platform. She also now has 2.3 million followers on Instagram and nearly a million on TikTok, where she has been going viral recently for her posts about her “divorce era.”

Another influencer who got her start in the halcyon days of YouTube, Tana Mongeau, posted last week that she was happy to see new fans discovering “Aspyn Ovard lore.”

What is Ovard’s lore, exactly? We’ll get into it.

Until very recently, Ovard lived in Salt Lake City, and she is friendly with some of the newly minted reality stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She got married when she was 19 years old. You would be forgiven for assuming she is Mormon, but she is not, she says.

Some fans have theorized that her non-Mormonism was actually the cause of her divorce, but she has denied that as well.

“My favorite theory that I’ve seen is that he [Ferris] was giving money to the Mormon church and that I was mad about it,” she told followers in a Q&A last week. “I would have been mad if that’s what it was, because they don’t need my freaking money. They have plenty of money!”

Ovard and Ferris got married in St. George, Utah, in 2015, just before Ovard turned 20. She wore a flower crown at the ceremony, and the couple said their vows under a dream catcher:

They now have three daughters: Cove, 5, Lola, 3, and the new baby, whose name they have not revealed.

    Well.

Ovard filed for divorce on April 13, and she has since told her followers that Ferris “betrayed” her in some way, and that several other people in her life knew about the betrayal but didn’t tell her. As you can imagine, this has sparked a frenzy as fans attempt to theorize what exactly happened. We know that it has nothing to do with Mormonism, and Ovard has also said that Ferris didn’t cheat. Here’s Ovard discussing how she will “nev”.

How many children does Aspyn Ovard have?

For those uninitiated, the to-be divorced couple are parents to daughters Cove and Lola, who are four and two years old, respectively.

How do I get free advice from California Labor Law? Everyone always mentions employees need more rights, but little attention is placed on what rights employers are violating under California and federal law on a consistent basis. Employee rights are of course more important than ever in this economy. With fewer and fewer small business employing workers in California, big companies seem to have gained leverage and the ability to violate employee rights. One type of employee rights that are often at issue relates to wages and hours. In particular, the issue of labor law breaks has found its way to court in many recent employment law cases. Employees are entitled to a 30 minute uninterrupted meal break for every 30 hours of work performed for the employer. However, what if the employees waives this right to a meal break by signing a meal break waiver? Or what if the employee clocks out for a meal break but continues to work through the break because the company requires the employee to do so? These employee rights are currently hot topics in California employment law and the answers to these questions are uncertain as of now. Another hot topic about employee rights deals with discrimination in the workplace. What happens if a company fires an employee but gives a false reason for the termination? Is this considered a wrongful termination? Does this give rise to a viable claim for discrimination in the workplace? Under California discrimination laws, if employees prove that an employer gave a false reason for firing the employee, this does not necessarily mean that the employee rights were violated by the company. However, the company has to present another reason for why the employee was fired. If this reason is deemed discriminatory, the employee may have a viable discrimination claim. Employee rights relating to working conditions is another current topic in California employment law. In particular, the issue of whether employees are required to stand up for long periods of time without the ability to sit down in a chair. Recently, several lawsuits have been filed against employers who require employees to stand up in the retail industry. Do employee rights entitle the workers to sit down or are the workers required to stand up all day? At Blumenthal, Nordrehaug & Bhowmik, our lawyers have obtained more than $1.3 billion in judgments and settlements for employees and consumers whose rights have been violated by companies of all sizes, with a substantial portion of that amount recovered through class action litigation throughout California.
